Two-week artist’s or writer’s residency award at the Vermont Studio Center

The Vermont Studio Center is a nonprofit year-round international creative community, that supports the making of art as the communication of spirit through form. 50 Artists and Writers Residents from across the country and around the world each month come to VSC each month to pursue independent work with the option of lectures, studio visits, and writing conferences from prominent artists and writers in their fields.

The CPC Fellowship is offered as part of VSC’s Open Center Residency Program, which welcomes artists and writers who combine a disciplined studio practice with a disciplined spiritual practice, and the practice of peace. VSC Open Center Visitors offer informal talks presenting their individual points of view, practice, and the inter-connections between their practices. The CPC Fellowships also have access to VSC’s daily meditation and yoga offerings.

To apply for a VSC Open Center Fellowship through CPC, fill out the standard VSC application found in the brochure or on the website (www.vermontstudiocenter.org), and include a statement, of not more than one page, describing the interface between your practices and their connection to peace.
